Department Art Location Recife, PE - Brasil **The benefits about joining Kokku**: - Competitive financial reward; - Health Insurance; - A transparent and inclusion-oriented culture; - Relocation bonus, - Meal ticket; - Transport benefits and more **As an Art Manager you will**: - Facilitate the information flow, knowledge sharing, and best practices between the team and the producers and project managers; - Drive production excellence initiatives, working closely with all producers, project managers and art production services; - Manage and provide direction to the art teams on each project under your purview, acting as a bridge between the art team and the producer and project manager; - Work closely with the Head of Art on the studio’s production strategy and roadmap; - Coordinate the Art department’s hiring plan and support hiring and recruiting choices with the recruiting and producer/production teams - Promote synergy between our production studios (near future) and manage the portfolio - Support the Head of Art in defining the vision and strategy for creating tools to support our Art Department, according to the company strategy and input from the Art teams, and in other topics related to the art team - Coordinate the allocation of resources to execute the projects and their vision for artists’ professional growth, creating value for our Art Department. - Actively participate in the professional management and training of the artist team, in conjunction with the Leads and Principals allocated to your team - Work with the Team Leaders to define strategies and OKR for the Art team, in collaboration with our strategy. **We expect you to have**: - Artistic experience from the entertainment industry (games, film, TV, VFX); - Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and 3D visualization packages (The role does not require hands-on art production, but the ability to edit and manage art files would be desirable); - Technical knowledge of game art production, including user interface design and animation, and game production pipelines; - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; - Reliable sense of ownership to identify and solve problems; - Strong collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills; - Successful experience in a similar position; - Interpersonal skills and technical knowledge to guide and manage your team’s career and growth; - Interest in getting involved in innovative, high value-added projects; - Fluent English.
